Now if they ONLY paid attention to the theme of my rant and moved to RLM.. at least the license server wont expire in the middle of production at 3am. YAY.

Dear Zoic Engineering Dept.
Following your feedback, we are changing the license policy for our License
Server. Until now, you were required to renew your License Server every year in
order to continue using it, but we have decided to void this requirement and
make all License Servers perpetual licenses instead :-)
What this means is that you can continue using your existing License
Server forever, without ever having to renew it! (if you upgrade to
newer versions of e-on products, you will still have to upgrade the License
Server as well, in order to be able to serve these newer versions).
To transform your License Server into a perpetual license, please download
the latest update from the Software
Updates page. This update also adds several new features and product
enhancements:
The License Server no

Adds compatibility with MacOS
10.10 (Yosemite)
Adds the option to
seamlessly upgrade the Server for 2015 licenses and up
Improves license
information display in the License Server controller and log files
