speaking of QNAP... i've got two QNAPs for a project that i'd like to
keep synchronized. They are in different physical locations: one west
coast, one east coast.
i was looking at rsync and qnap rtrr, but the QNAP implementations
seem mainly intended for local networks, not long-distance. And more
importantly, i won't have regular access to the QNAPs, so another goal
is to have the sync solution be relatively artist-proof.
i was thinking of keeping the sync on the computers, and using
something like Cubby or BitTorrent Sync, but i'd love to be able to
run it on the QNAPs natively.
rsync/rtrr over vpn is an option, but very difficult politically.
does anyone have suggestions? I bet i'm missing something really simple.
thanks in advance!
