Frankie

Hi Rob,

I've been meeting this past few weeks with various people in the commercial production world about a new collaborative media review tool (called Frankie) that we've recently introduced.  Given the nature of your business, I thought you and your team might be interested in having a look at Frankie, too.  It can be a great complement to Interdubs, which I believe you've been using for some time.

Running in a browser, Frankie enables you to review and discuss video media between multiple locations, with play controls, drawing tools and notes perfectly synchronised between all participants.  It's built upon the same technology as our Academy Award winning cineSync software, but tailored for short-form content production workflows.  It requires no software installation and no plugins, and it takes care of the media hosting and transport.  It's really easy to learn and fun to use.

Frankie makes it simpler and more effective when working with clients in other countries or cities ? or even just elsewhere in Toronto.  WIPs can be reviewed and discussed quickly, using drawing tools to illustrate exactly what you mean, eliminating ambiguity.  And it's ideal for discussing storyboards and sketching out ideas to make sure that everyone is on the same page right from the start.
