Hi Everyone,

Please let me know, or register via the sysadmin website.

This month’s topic is “Virtualization” with IBM

Today’s organizations require efficient, affordable storage solutions that help keep up with exploding information demands. Yesterday’s storage solutions are not built to meet these new challenges.

IBM continues its commitment to delivering groundbreaking storage solutions. Our virtualization product suite will give you the scalability, manageability and enterprise-level capabilities that meet both your business needs and IT budgets.

Storage tiering with solid state drives, scale-out-NAS, storage virtualization, and storage resource management.

Storage efficiency. Reduce physical storage requirements by up to 50% and make future storage growth easier to accommodate. Use Real-Time Data Compression for your
Active and On-line NAS environments.

Service Delivery. Improve service levels and beat expectations through better analysis, clearly demonstrate the business value of IT, and confidently support always-on applications.

Data Protection. Shrink back-up windows and speed restore times to help meet recovery objectives more reliably and efficiently.

Join us on December 1st for an interesting discussion surrounding IBM’s technologies which will enable optimization; resulting in reduced complexity, increased utilization and reduced cost for your organization.
