Just had the data from an iPhone 5 recovered by $300 Data Recovery:

The iPhone had bricked, the data was unavailable, and it had not been recently synced. The OS could have been re-installed, but it would have wiped out existing data. I contacted Drive Savers and they quoted the recovery somewhere between $700 to $1200 and over two weeks to complete. $300 Data Recovery took only a few hours and only cost $300!
The tech I spoke with said that a majority of drives/devices sent out do not require disassembly in a clean room environment. Drive Savers was going to open up the iPhone in a clean room, which isn't necessary for a Solid State device. I have mucho respect for Drive Savers, but $300 will be my first choice for data recovery.![]()
