Hi All,
From an artist here in my office...
To start, I was running the nvidia driver version 258.96, win 7 64-bit based on the recommendation of this page on nvidia's site:
http://www.nvidia.com/page/partner_certified_drivers.html
which, for maya 2011, win7 64bit, quadro 4000, the recommended driver is 258.96. I crashed non-stop. I originally assumed it was the heavy geometry and vray proxies in our scene files for this job, but then Katie wasn't having this issue. I checked her driver, which is 270.51, so I removed 258.96 and installed 270.51. I crash less, but I still crash. If I want to make sure I crash, I go from shaded mode to wireframe. bang. dead. If I select to many objects at one time, dead.

Anyone else using a 4000 and having issues?
Thanks for any help!
