HP Procurve port monitorting
posted by Jeremy Smith on Nov. 29, 2013, 4:25 a.m. (12 days ago)

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping someone can give me a hand.  We have several HP Procurve switches and for several reasons we can do update them to a newer firmware/rom (currently running K.15.10.0009, ROM K.15.30).  It would appear that they have changed the web GUI when you log on and it appears that one feature may have been removed.

In the past I was able to graphically see how much bandwidth each specific port was using; it would appear that this is now missing.  If this is hidden away somewhere and if someone knows where this I would be grateful to know.  Also if this is not the case can anyone suggest any software (perhaps SNMP) where I could monitor the port activity and that has good graphing and reporting tools?

Any input would be welcome!

Thank you
