| Not sure how many of you use ffmpeg in production, I know I have. see http://googleonlinesecurity.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/ffmpeg-and-thousand-fixes.html I always thought that it was not very good at sanity checking its inputs. That said quicktime is not much better.
