Robocopy like functionality question.
posted by  on Jan. 16, 2014, 12:15 p.m.
Does anyone know of an easy way to achieve the following. I have 2 directories that need to be in sync. DirA -> DirB I would like to be able to run something similar to robocop /PURGE but instead of deleting files on DirB that no longer exist on DirA, I would like to move those files to a specific directory that is defined. A sort of network trash can where items can be reviewed before confirming the deletion of the files. Anyone know of a tool that can achieve this? Bonus points if the original directory structure is maintained under the new specified folder.
