seeing air - Many thanks
posted by Brian Krusic on April 11, 2014, 10:15 p.m. (1 day ago)
Hi and may thanks to all that have responded, I very much appreciate it.  I know it was and odd post and sorta laughed sending it but am serious about the need.

The Flir stuff looks very cool, I will look into it.

I thought about dry ice and even though it will be for a short duration, I am a little cautious.  Im still considering though.

And lastly, a set of glitter star wands is a good thought for sure.  Plus I may become a star!

Ill post with my findings and results.

Hi,

Unsure how to set the topic but its what Im trying to do.

Id love to be able to see the airflow in my various server/machine rooms.

Is there some kind of stuff thats not harmful to silicon etc

Even something that requires a black light to see would be cool.

I just need something that allows watching flow so that I can adjust stuff.

And no, acid isnt thorough or accurate.  I mean I can see purple and green streamers (throw in a chubby dinosaur or 2) but its irregardless of air flow :)
