Summary: Primary responsibilities to include: Active Directory Server and Group Policy Management Visual Effects Systems Install and Maintenance Management of Isilon Cluster and other storage systems Assignment and Carry through of various IT projects Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Mixed OS Environments (Mac, PC, Linux) Active Directory, Windows 2008 Server, Group Policy Management Dell / Force 10 networking VLAN and VPN OS X Server Apple XSAN Isilon Clustered Storage Knowledge or equivalent experience of VFX Pipelines ESX and VCenter Programming / Scripting Experience Using any of the following - Python, Javascript, AppleScript, FIlemaker Pro Strong Knowledge of SMB and NFS file sharing protocols Familiar With - Filemaker Pro / Filemaker Server - Management of Render Farms - VFX File formats including DPX, Quicktime, Avid MXF, JPEG, TIF - Website and FTP management - OS Nexus - Amazon EC2 and Cloud Computing - Palo Alto Firewalls - Post Production / VFX Software including any of the following (Nuke, Autodesk 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Scratch, AVID, Deadline Render Management Software, Mocha, Syntheyes) ------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- |
