We have now worked with StorNext 5 in 1 month, and I did find some bugs n old stuff I did not like. One thing is Apples Finder Refresh rate that are horrible, so when browsing a stornext system, it will seem slow on some folders, and it will take forever, but when looking at the same folder by Terminal its rock stable and fast. The fix is a small program called FinderRefresh, added inn the Zip. I also did need some better management tools to do the daily jobs, where I don't want to go working with a web interface or terminal to do simple stuff so i made a simple doorway on the MDCs for that, and a Apple Script. and here it is : Sharing is caring =) Best Andreas _____________________________ Andreas Martin Aanerud, ing.
