Do you guys get any sort of end of project notification
posted by  on Aug. 24, 2014, 9:50 p.m. (2 days ago)

Hey,

Just looking at something here today and it highlights an old gripe of mine, tech ops don't actually get notified when a production has actually finished.  The obvious thing would be to think, we'll it's in the cinema so the job is done.  There always seems to be little bits and pieces we do after a production ends that still make use some of the mailing lists, security group requirements and the like.

The end result is we have our systems littered with redundant security groups, mailing lists, deployed software that was specific for a task etc.  Do you guys have any sort of systems in place where you get something from production to officially end a production and anything system wise that was associated with it?

Thanks
