Dell NX400 NAS?

I know this isn't the type of high performance / high capacity / highly scalable storage we normally discuss here, but what I'm looking for is a "install and forget" NAS for general administrative data (accounting, HR,...). And since those folks are mostly on Windows, a Server 2012R2 based box seems like it would be reasonably "plug and play" (famous last words...).

Interested in any horror stories, or alternatives that don't require me to actually learn anything new since I'm very lazy for stuff that doesn't really interest me.
