OSX Server Samba Share // Posix permissions always 700 ?
posted by Mathieu Arseneault on Nov. 28, 2014, 6:20 a.m. (1 day ago)

Hi Mat,

It's on OSX 10.8 ( also tried 10.9 10.10).
The problem is when a Windows 7 client wrote through samba, it writes as 700 (+acls).
We use AD.

Thanks !
Mathieu

Mathieu,

1. What OS specifically are your clients running?

Are your clients Mac or Windows or Linux?

2. Do you use a directory (OD, LDAP, AD)?

Are you using local user accounts?

:)
