| Hi All, We are currently exploring the idea of making our in-house storage indexing software available outside of Framestore; eg. commercial or open source. We've seen the indexing topic discussed before on this list and this used to be a problem for us, too. We can view aggregated info across all file systems with break downs by user and history, from 500M files. We also have reporting tools that give a more VFX centric picture of data use that can be more useful to production. We are currently trying to gauge interest / usefulness of this outside of Framestore and we have created a short survey to help with this.
