Apple says move to Yosemite

Hello Guys,

Need to hear about any issues that anyone may be aware of in doing this. What breaks, what works better, what changes?

Hi Rob,

Assuming you can shutdown the array on demand and flashing via the serial port try the following:

Shutdown array
Remove upper controller.
Boot up array and flash lower controller.
Shutdown array.
Remove lower controller and put the upper controller removed earlier in the lower slot.
Flash controller.
Shutdown array.
You can then put the controllers back in the correct order and power up.

Hi folks,

Ive got an F6500 with somehow mismatched controller component versions (e.g., GEM on one is 175 and on the other is 176), and as a result Ive been unable to update firmware on either controller.

RAID FW version on both at the moment is 3.12.14 (UID 3.2.1 level), so I think im trying to get them both to UID 3.2.3 before going on to UID 3.3.

Anybody got experience wrestling these beasts and want to give me a hint?

Rob
