Hi all, As this is my first post here please excuse me if im not posting the right info or at the right place :) I'm currently working with a Brocade ICX 6610 24 ports to have this switch forward multicast traffic. The switch is located at one of our satelite offices and behind this switch a entone STB is located. the switch does not forward all the multicast traffic. it seems that the *G messages get forwarded to the core router that in its turn starts forwarding the traffic that belongs to that group. the ICX does not seem to forward the traffic to the access ports. if we mirror the traffic comming in from the uplink port the stream is pressent in the traffic. if we put a stb on the mirror port that even starts to play audio and video. even when removing all the IP PIM and IP Multicast configuration still no multicast traffic is forwarded.
config i applied: ip multicast passive and i tried ip multicast active non off the commands brought the dessired results :( Is there anyone on list that could provide some tips or knows whats going on here or what im missing ?
