Reliable HD-SDI video over IP
posted by Rob LaRose on May 1, 2015, 10:40 a.m. (1 day ago)

Hi folks,

I need to send HD video from my facility downtown to get onto the video hub there.  The only connectivity I have for now is IP, so I thought Id use Artel's DLC610+DLC410 solution, but just found out that it doesnt handle 24fps, making it a non-starter.

Before I go back to trying unknown quantities, can anyone recommend a system youve used with success?  The artel was gonna do JPEG at 200Mbps, so uncompressed video is not a requirement, but its gotta be very good and STABLE the receiver will be downtown, so if its the kind of thing that needs to be reset often, that would be a real drag.

Thanks!

Rob
