An advisory went out today, don't try to install Flame Assist / Smoke on OS X 10.11 beta, it will fail. Autodesk says: So most likely the rootless stuff. That's probably going to trip up a lot of software. Of course the alternative is to provide layer upon layer upon layer of backwards compatibility so you can run Windows 3.1 software on today's version (just kidding, I think Win16 is now end-of-lifed?)."fail to install due to significant security changes made in the operating system" |
