It's a feature apparently, but I'm wondering if any isi users out there a) have this issue and more importantly b) have a neat solution or hack. This cluster is OneFS7.1.0.6 (pre zone as directory) With a quota set on both these paths pathA = /ifs/A/B/C/source PathB = /ifs/X/Y/Z mv PathA PathB does not work. but mv PathA/* PathB does (provided there's only files in <source>) As there is a quota set on both of these locations, I'm told by EMC that OneFS cannot precompute the new quota totals so it wont permit the action. Has anyone out there come accross this issue and know of a workaround? (other than the obvious "write a script") Julian FirmingerSnr.
