Hi all,
Tossing this out, I asked before but its comin time for me to look at yet another storage topology.
We are needing shared high speed storage for our Flames.
While 10GB w/jumbo seems fine, block level access could promise better performance especially with multi terabyte data sets.
Does any one have success in implementing Flame+SAN?
One of my venders has tried pushing this earlier but we felt baby steps, first w/10GB. Then perhaps SAN?
Or would a dedicated BlueArc with jumbo+10GB promise great throughput similar to block level access? With this topology, I can share out to every one else on an as needed bases.
Ideally I would li to minimize the complexity in our network, the KISS principle.
