pipeline mapping / Mind Maps

I am in the process of creating a visual map of our production pipeline. ?A mind map of sorts. ?Currently our pipeline resides in a bunch of grey matter, txt docs, excel docs, and word docs. ?I'm a visual person so looking at it on a larger level and being able to tweak it easily will be a great help in "showing" everyone how the machine turns the cog. ?Any suggestions on cheap software? ?Currently evaluating Visio and ConceptDraw's line of products (http://www.conceptdraw.com/products) for the task.
