Anyone following whats going on in Dubai regarding the UN trying to put together a SOPA type of mandate, giving Nations the ability to control their internet?
Driving home last night on NPR I heard one proposal from the European team that they wanted to invoke some tax that would make it so that if I had a website hosted on a server in the states, I or my ISP would have to pay to allow the people in EU to view the site. WTF?
and?of course, now the ?UN site has been hit by hackers....
