long time ago this use to be a big issue. Is it still today? I've been told by a few vendors it is an issue of the past..
We are considering buying AMD cpu's instead of Intel to augment our current HPC solution. We'll be using Nuke, 3delight and Houdini mantra for output. Could one expect to see visual differences in outputs from these products while using the different cpu architectures?  I will be sending this very question to each of the vendors, but I was wondering if anyone has any comments here on the subject.
