Specifically bought more CS6 licenses because I didn't want to deal with Adobe's CC bs, and the workstations cycle through forgetting my Adobe ID and their serial number routinely... Anybody else having this fun? And I could type expletives for the next 5 minutes about the crap MS is doing. Bought a couple what are normally thought of as OEM copies of Office 2013. Can't directly download an .iso of the software, there's actually posts in MS forums about this giving a link through another site that directs you back to a hidden Akami source for the .iso... But even once you're installed and you put in the product key "Please link to a Microsoft account to activate product." There is NO way to setup the product for a user, if you link it to your existing account or a generic account that will be there every time they run the software, the Skydrive they're linked to, etc. Also it sounds like it gets reset every time a new user logs in. This isn't Office 365 btw--this is a license for one PC that bends over backwards to make you just give up and go 365... @##$#%!!! It's truly scary how little concern Microsoft has for the support people in small to medium businesses largely responsible for getting them to where they are. I thought only Apple went out of their way to screw us over! ______________ Jeremy M. Lang it4vfx |
