This paper (2013) is a good read for everyone using (Enterprise)
SSDs in their facilities. https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/fast13/fast13-final80.pdf Summary of the findings: http://www.zdnet.com/how-ssd-power-faults-scramble-your-data-7000011979/ We use Intel SSDs in different Raid configurations for our StorNext Metadata - haven't experienced these problems so far - even with 2 major power outages last year (graceful shutdown was possible while UPS kicked in) Anyone having weird SSDs issues, maybe data loss after power faults? Cheers Jatha --
