| Rant alert: Ok. Say you ask a question in a forum, and someone responds with a "just google it" or a link to lmgtfy.com... what do you call that? Seems like there should be a word for that kind of jack-assery. It drives me batshit insane. People seem to forget that their forum posts will be indexed by google. Half the time I search for how to do something, the first links take me to a forum post where someone who asked the same question is told to google it. Ten years from now, every google search will be an endless goddamn loop of "just google it". How do we get the message out to people that if they don't have a useful response to a question, they should just STFU? In other words, don't be a hostile RTFM/LMGTFY asshole.
