Good day list...
I have a client in California who needs to get about 5TB of data to our
datacenter, not to us. Can anyone recommend an alternative to him shipping
HDD's half way across the planet so we can then transmit the data straight
back to Huston?

used these ones extensively and they seem to last longer than your run of the mill linksys or lower-end dlink access point. just like anything, when they die, they die horribly (popped capacitors and other surface mount components seem to have about a 1.5-2 year lifespan in those crappy linksys AP's everyone seems to get from Staples). i quite like these D-Link dwl-3200ap's. as far as configuration goes, basically every AP is the same, i very rarely have to reboot these (i'm talking months, if ever) until they're about to die. they can do PoE or you can fake it with a supplied little power supply and ethernet splitter.
